Founder of Firmas Asia Company Limited

For over 20 years Chan has established, managed and coordinated IT and back office operations of leading international banks like Bayerische Landesbank, Credit Suisse, Banca Commerciale Italiana, Republic National Bank of New York and Bayerische Vereinsbank. Chan managed and trained of staff, handled IT budgets and led cross-functional teams.

Chan is the founder of Firmus Asia Company Limited, an IT consulting firm in Hong Kong. He is also a part time lecturer for various renowned universities and a corporate consultant with over 20 years of diversified expertise in management, financial products and Internet application. He has solid experiences in designing, setting up, leading and managing regional offices in Asian countries as well as aligning IT with other business units in an enterprise-wide perspective.

Dr. Jacky Ting

Dr. Jacky Ting is the Digital Services Lead of Greater China Region at Cognizant Technology Solutions (HK) Limited. Prior to joining Cognizant, he worked at PCCW Solutions Limited with the position of Assistant Vice President and Practice Leader in Digital Solutions. In 2011, he is awarded with doctoral degree in Medical Informatics and Data Mining from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). Starting from March 2013, he is appointed as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, PolyU, responsible for advising the department in areas of digital services, engineering management, logistics engineering and project management. In 2017, he was awarded as ISE Distinguished Alumni and an Associate Fellow at The Professional Validation Centre of Hong Kong Business Sector (PVCBS).

Currently, Dr Ting serves in the Digital Business (covering Interactive, Strategy, AI & Analysis and Connected Products/ IoT) at Cognizant, responsible for proactively identifying and recommending strategies for growth, providing leadership to the designated team, playing an advisory role to customers, and providing thought-leadership and guidance in the digital solutions and customer journey area. Dr Ting has over 10 years of digital transformation and business management experience with key emphasis on transformation strategy, digital system design and development (especially Human Science/ Design Thinking, Interactive Solutions, AI, Analytics and IoT technologies), Agile System Development Life Cycle process management, project management, vendor management and program management. His biographical profile has been selected for inclusion in the IoT Heroes Program 2016 and Marquis Who’s Who in the World® 2015, respectively; in 2012, he received the award of Outstanding Youth ICT Achiever in the Outstanding ICT Achiever Awards 2012. Furthermore, his ICT works and research outcomes have been presented in 12 international conferences and published in more than 30 international refereed journals.

Mr. Samson Chow

Mr. Samson Chow, Director of Norray Professional Computer Ltd. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree holder in Computer Science and Pure Mathematics from the University of Sheffield, England. With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Mr. Chow managed many software projects and delivered numerous training programs on computer related subjects.

Software development projects managed by Mr. Chow includes tailor-made solutions for specific clients and industries, a Point of Sales (POS) package and most recently, an Fixed Assets Management System that gives businesses an effective and efficient boost in managing their accurate control, these packages even well make use of mobile device such as iPhone or Tablet PC such as ipad to do stock take in or out.

In addition to the vast experience in software development, he has over 15 years of teaching experience. He was the course leader for one of the courses on the ITAA QF syllabus. More recently, he has devoted part of his time as a volunteer for a non-profit organization, he teaches computer application programs to under-privileged school students in rural China and acting as the Information Technology Team Director.

Dr. Kelvin Wan
